摘要 A diaphragm pressure governor is proposed, which serves for controlling a fluid pressure in a system through which a fluid flows, especially for controlling the fuel pressure in a fuel injection system. The diaphragm pressure governor (9) comprises a valve diaphragm (41), which divides a spring chamber (42) with a control spring (43) from a fluid chamber (40), in which a system pressure valve seat (47), a shut off valve seat (48) and a return valve seat (49) are arranged on the same level as the fixing plane (54) of the valve diaphragm (41). The return valve seat (49) is arranged enclosing the shut off valve seat (48) and forming a return groove (50) with this. In the return valve seat (49) a restrictor (52) is formed which constantly connects the fluid chamber (40) with a return line (51) to the intake side of a fuel pump (5). The action of the control spring (43) on the valve diaphragm (41) is eccentrically offset towards the shut off valve seat (48) by an amount (a). By means of the diaphragm pressure governor, it is possible to smoothly reduce the fluid pressure in the fuel feed line (3) below the opening pressure of the injection valves (10) when the fuel injection system is shut off and then to reliably close the fuel feed line (3) and the discharge line (24), in order to prevent fuel flowing out of the fuel injection system, so that restarting can be performed without delay. <IMAGE>
