PURPOSE:To safely and effectively perform a coupling operation only with the operation of an operating lever by interposing a stopper plate which restricts the movement of a lock plunger wich locks a coupler in a locking lever. CONSTITUTION:When a lock is released, an operating lever 14 is pulled toward the end side. Since an engaging pin 24 provided at the base of a lever 14 pushes a rockable link 21 in this manner, the link 21 rocks clockwise, a stopper plate 18 thus moves against the force of the first spring 26 in this manner, and the end surface of a rod 11 corresponds to the notch 20. When the lever 14 is rocked backwardly around a shaft 16 as a center from this state, the lock plunger 8 moves backwardly against the tension of a compression spring 13. Accordingly, the engagement of the plunger 8 with hook 5 is disengaged, thereby releasing a king pin 2 from the hook 5, and a tractor is disengaged from a trailer. |
