PURPOSE:To enable to automatically release a lock of a coupler by mounting a remotely controllable cylinder unit on a locking unit. CONSTITUTION:When a coupling is removed, a switch 22 of an operating chamber is closed. Then, a changeover valve 20 is switched, the end chamber 15 of a cylinder 13 communicates with an air tank 21, and high pressure air is supplied to the chamber 15. When piston 17 is then slid against the force of a spring 12, a lock plunger 8 is retarded along a guide frame 9, and the engagement of the hook 5 with the engaging groove 10 is disengaged. In coupling, when a king pin 2 is pressed into a holder 7, the hook 5 is turned, and the holder 7 holds the pin 2. Simultaneously, the groove 10 of the hook 5 is opened, a plunger 8 is engaged with the groove 10, the rotation of the hook 5 is retricted, and the coupling is safely and effectively performed. |
