In a process for producing rigid plastic profiles with a metal pipe to be introduced by pushing in, inwardly directed webs supporting the metal pipe, in the chamber of the plastic profile, are shaved off by the pushing in of the metal pipe equipped with cutting edges, to produce a stress-free firm seating. The web shape of the web rows, which are in particular adjacent to one another in a toothed manner, contributes to the centering between the metal pipe and the plastic profile. By this means the metal pipe is arranged in the plastic profile free of play with a firm seat on the surfaces facing it.
