PURPOSE:To let a magnetic wedge have elasticity for increasing mechanical strength, to make easy to insert into a slot, and to improve characteristics, by a method wherein the magnetic wedge comprises non-crystalline magnetic material, and is molded by utilizing an organic binder. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic wedge for inserting into an opening of an open slot or semi-closed slot 2 comprises non-crystalline magnetic lamellas or non-crystalline magnetic fibers as main material, and is molded by utilizing an organic binder. the resultant magnetic wedge is improved in its operation efficiency and torque characteristic to the extent more than equal to those of ferrite wedges. |
