PURPOSE:To provide a pressure releasing device which permits releasing of the gas in a charging bell hopper into the clean gas pipe on the low pressure side of the furnace top gas without allowing the pressure to fluctuate by disposing a shutoff valve, a gas holder for pressure releasing and a pressure regulating valve on the line of the pressure releasing pipe of a recovering piping for top gas of the blast furnace to the clean gas pipe on the low pressure side. CONSTITUTION:First a pressure releasing valve 7 and a shutoff valve 8 are opened to clean the gas in a charging bell hopper 5 with a pressure releasing pipe 6 and a gas cleaner 9. After the pressure is released into a gas holder 10 for pressure releasing, the valve 7 and the valve 8 are closed. Then in the constant time (about 2-3min) during the execution of the charging of raw materials into a middle bell 3 and a lower bell 4 and the operation for pressure equalization on the blast furnace 1 side, a pressure regulating valve 11 is opened gradually while both pressures of the holder 10, and a clean gas pipe 12 on the low pressure side of the furnace top gas are taken into consideration, whereby the gas in the holder 10 is released in such a way as not to fluctuate the pressure in the pipe 12. When the releasing of the gas from the holder 10 is completed, the valve 11 is closed, the valve 8 is opened and the device is kept ready to operate in the next charging of the raw materials. |
