PURPOSE:To improve the adhesion between recording paper and an image carrier, and to obtain a clear copied image, by providing contacting rollers at the top of a recording paper guiding member. CONSTITUTION:Contacting rollers 25 and 25a and a tongue plate 253 for improving the adhesion between an image carrier 21 and recording paper P are provided at the top of the lower guide plate 231 of a guiding device 23, and the rollers are energized by a compression spring toward the image carrier to rotate by being driven by the carrier 21. The contacting roller diameter is selected adequately while the radius of curvature of the image carrier 21 and conditions of the moving speed of the recording paper P, etc., are considered, so that the leading edge of the lower guide plate 231 is set in such a way that the transfer paper P moves to the surface of the image carrier 21 at the best entrance angle. Thus, the adhesive strength of the recording paper P is improved and a copied image of good quality is obtained. |
