In a cold pilger rolling mill with a roll stand (1) sliding backwards and forwards on a fixed, lined bed (6), oil grooves (8, 9) are provided in the mutually facing surfaces of the bed lining (7) and the sliding facing (5) of the roll stand (1), the oil grooves (9) of the bed lining being connected to an oil pump via a guide bore (10). The oil groove (8) of the facing (5) is connected to the outside by a guide bore (11) and there to an oil introduction opening (12) of further parts of the roll stand (1). <IMAGE>
