CONTROLLING SYSTEM FOR ON-LINE TERMINAL DEVICE

PURPOSE:To reduce the number of operators on the sides of terminal devices by connecting supervisory controlling devices to a central device and the terminal devices respectively and connecting both the central and terminal devices through control lines to perform control and supervise the terminal devices concentrically by the central device. CONSTITUTION:A supervisory controlling master device SCM and a MODEM MDMm are connected to the central device ME side and a MODEM MDMs and a supervisory controlling slave device SCS are connected to each terminal device TE side. Both the central device and respective terminal devices are connected through control lines CL1-CLn such as public telephone lines and private lines. A display part DP is connected to the device SCM to display the status of each device TE on the basis of a supervisory signal from the device SCS and the device SCM transmits a control signal in response to a command from the subcomputer CCP. Consequently the devices TE are controlled and supervised concentrically by the device SCM.
