PURPOSE:To increase sealing strength, and also to obtain a display panel having high reliability, by converting a sealing part to a rough surface. CONSTITUTION:2 pieces of electrode substrates 1 constituting a liquid crystal display panel are subjected to vertical orientation treatment 2, and a sealing part of this electrode substrate is converted to a rough surface 3 by a dry honing treatment using molten alumina grains, etc. To a sealing part (rough surface part) of a transparent electrode substrate obtained in this way, a thermosetting epoxy resin adhesive agent 4 is used and applied by screen printing, and it is stuck with an opposed substrate and is cured. Subsequently, a liquid crystal is injected into a liquid crystal vessel formed in this way, by which the liquid crystal display panel is obtained. |
