PURPOSE:To facilitate the loading of sheets in a sheet feeding apparatus for a duplicator or the like, by positioning a swingable sheet loading means coactively with the attaching movement of the sheet loading means to the duplicator body. CONSTITUTION:When the feeding paper sheet placing table 7 is withdrawn normally to the sheet from the body 8, since a body cam 19 is lowered backward, a roller 18 of a spring pressure releasing lever 17 is pushed up, and the lever 17 is rotated counterclockwise so that a spring pressure arm 13 is rotated counterclockwise through a link mechanism (not shown) to release the pushing up force. Thus, the placing plate 3 lowers due to its own weight so that the loading of sheets are facilitated. The loading (C) of the placing table 7 is reversely actuated so that the spring pressure arm 13 pushes up the placing plate 3. In this case, the maximum displacement section 19m of the body cam 19 is formed into reversely inclined sections 19n, 19n'. Thus, the feeding paper sheet placing table 7 is securely locked in its respective positions. According to this arrangement, the sheets can be loaded readily. |
