PURPOSE:To provide the titled method, by moving each I-beam with the web upright onto an inclined surface, and turning upside down the I-beam 90 deg. to stack I-beams with the webs horizontal. CONSTITUTION:The I-beam A is conveyed by a chain conveyor 2 with the web B upright, and after the I-beam A has passed on a pusher, the I-beam A is elevated by a pushing piece 7 of the pusher along the inclined surface of a turning table 3. When the I-beam is further elevated, and is allowed to fall from the table 3, the web B is turned 90 deg. upside-down to become horizontal, and the I- beam is transferred onto a transferring chain conveyor 2'. By the same procedure, the next I-beam A is turned over onto the transferring chain conveyor 2' so that the I-beams are juxstaposed. Then the transferring chain conveyor 2' is moved back, and an I-beam (c) is placed on the webs of the I-beams (a) and (c). |
