PURPOSE:To enhance ion exchange capacity by dispersing both plural kinds of cation exchange resin particles and a polymer base material in methanol and adding a binder while heating the mixture and evaporating methanol and thereafter thermally-polymerizing the binder. CONSTITUTION:For example, 0.05g latex A of fine cation exchange resin particles having sulfone group and 0.03g latex B of fine cation exchange resin particles having iminodiacetic group are mixed and furthermore 10mlambda methanol is added to disperse them. Then while heating the mixture at 50-60 deg.C on a water bath and evaporating methanol, a binder is added and the mixture is stirred. After completely evaporating methanol, it is allowed to stand at 80 deg.C for 2hr and the binder is polymerized. The obtained cation exchange resin has a cross-sectional structure wherein 2 and 3 being latexes A and B are stuck on the surface of a base material 1 so that these are pasted with the binder 4. |
