PURPOSE:To obtain an oil-based cosmetic such as eyebrow, lipstick, etc., having excellent surface gloss, and capable of being pushed out from a container completely without causing the stiff pushing, breakage, scraping of the side face of the cosmetic, etc., by compounding a polyethylene having an average molecular weight of within a specific range. CONSTITUTION:An oil-based cosmetic such as eye shadow, eye liner, etc. containing a polyethylene having an average molecular weight of about 300- about 700, preferably 500-700 in an amount of 3-95wt%, preferably 3-10wt%. A solid cosmetic can be obtained by using a small amount of polyethylene, and the product has high transparency. The cosmetic containing <=about 15% polyethylene has excellent transparency. |
