Removing agent for an exhaust gas was composed of 15-50 wt.% combiner from portland and alumina cement, 49-84 wt. % desulfurized from CaO, Ca(OH)2, CaCO3 and MgCO3, and 1-2 wt.% oxidizing catalyst from Fe compd. and Mg compd. such as FeOx and MnOx. In fig/(I), the upper part of a briquet combuster was filled with a gas-purifying material and the exhaust gas was cleaned when it was combusted at the combuster and passed through the campn. for removing waste gas.
