<p>The reciprocating piston IC-engine has pistons (2) connected to the crank pins (10) of a crankshaft (11) via connecting rods (4). Each crank pin is articulated to an end of a first connecting link (9) with a length greater than the diameter of the circle defined by the crankpin during its rotation. At its other end, the link is connected to a second link (6) with its end supported on a fixed axis (7) parallel to the crankshaft and offset laterally to it. Each piston is connected by its connecting rod to a point between the ends of the second link.</p> |
