<p>The pressure-medium operated safety support for hoist units e.g. elevating platforms on railed vehicles, comprises a support column (1) positioned on a lifting piston in a pressure medium cylinder. The complete length of the column has circumferential grooves (2) with which engage a spring-loaded catch (5) which is released by a further pressure medium source (10) and operates with a spring-loaded locking bolt (14). The locking unit (5) incorporates an operating lever (7) with a guide slit (8) and a connecting rod (9) to the pressure medium source (10). A limiting pin (11) is located in the guide slit (8) whereby in order to operate the locking bolt (14), a sloping surface (12) is provided on the pin and a flattened region (13) on the locking bolt. The compression spring for the locking catch fits movably about the guide bolts.</p> |
