The invention relates to a smoothing method for loose poured material in manual installation in agriculture, concrete and road building (17). In the method, the surface is divided up into fixing points at suitable height with height-adjustable pegs which are driven into the ground, and adjusted to a suitable height with a levelling device. These pegs are at the same time vertical lath holders (adjustable) which hold the connecting laths (52). From peg to peg, the connecting laths are laid longitudinally and transversely and the surface is divided up in a grid-like manner. The loose poured material is smoothed to the fixed height with smoothing laths. A further component of the method is manual smoothing beams with obliquely running transverse beams and a smoothing device for vehicles with an inclined smoothing beam running to and fro alternately and a sand smoothing shovel in order to complete the method (110). <IMAGE>
