The present invention relates to a universal primer set for discriminating species of Brassicaceae family and a molecular marker comprising the same and, more specifically, to a universal primer set for discriminating species of Brassicaceae family including Arabidopsis thaliana, Raphanus sativus L., Brassica rapa ssp. rapifera, Brassica rapa ssp. pekinensis, Brassica oleracea ssp. capitat, Brassica nigra, Brassica juncea (L.) Czern., Brassica carinata, Brassica napus, Brassica oleracea spp. italica and a molecular marker comprising the primer set.The universal primer set of the present invention is a primer produced based on COS derived by comparing interspecific single copy gene after analyzing genome and single copy genes of Brassica rapa ssp. pekinensis, Brassica oleracea ssp. capitat, and Arabidopsis thaliana, and the species of Brassicaceae family can be effectively discriminated by a step for amplifying DNA of a member of Brassicaceae family using this primer set and then analyzing size of the amplified product using electrophoresis. Additionally, the present invention can be useful as a molecular marker comprising the universal primer set for discriminating each species of Arabidopsis thaliana, Brassica rapa ssp. pekinensis, Brassica oleracea ssp. capitat by identifying orthologous gene sequences conserved in the respective Arabidopsis thaliana, Brassica rapa ssp. pekinensis, Brassicaoleracea ssp. capitat. |
