Pneumatic three-position shift drive, especially for shifting the stages of gearboxes, in which in a cylinder on a piston rod led through its two cylinder covers two pistons are sealed off and displaceably carried, by means of which three working chambers are defined in the cylinder, which are connected to pressurised gas connections. On the piston rod a stop element is fixed between the two pistons, on which element the inlet opening of the pressurised gas duct of the working chamber formed between the pistons is arranged, which opening is connected by way of an axial pressurised gas duct formed in the piston rod to a pressurised gas inlet chamber formed on the one end of the piston rod. On the sides of the pistons remote from one another a further stop is formed on each of the piston rods, whilst stop shoulders determining the maximum distance of the pistons from one another are formed on the cylinder.
