<p>A sealing strip (20) for a sliding window comprises two parallel sealing portions (21, 22) extending along the length of the strip and connected to each other along part of its length but disconnected from each other along the remainder of its length. The strip (20) is installed in a sliding window in which frame is formed by two spaced peripheral walls between which a window pane (10) slides. The part of the strip along which the sealing portions are connected lie along the side and top edges (7, 8, 9) of the frame and define a groove in which the window pane can slide. The remainder lies along the sill (6) and defines a slot through which the pane (10) may slide. <IMAGE></p> |
