PURPOSE:To obtain a toner of uniform magnetic characteristics by incorporating the parts constituted respectively of hydrocarbon monomers having conjugated diene bonds and vinyl type hydrocarbon monomers respectively at specific ratios based on the weight of a binder resin, and specifying the gel content of the binder resin at prescribed %. CONSTITUTION:A copolymer of hydrocarbon monomers having conjugated diene bonds is incorporated as a binder resin in a toner. Here, the parts constituted of the hydrocarbon monomers having conjugated diene bonds are contained at 2- 40wt% (more preferably 5-30wt%) based on the weight of the binder resin, and the parts constituted of vinyl hydrocarbon monomers at >=85wt% (more preferably >=90wt%) based on the weight of the binder resin, and the gel content of the binder resin is specified at 0.01-60% (more preferably 1-50%), whereby the good toner of uniform magnetic characteristics is obtained. It is preferable that the copolymerizing component of the hydrocarbon monomers having conjugated diene bonds is a styrene hydrocarbon monomer. |
