PURPOSE:To enhance the strength against water pressure and thermal action and the deformation resistance by a structure wherein the lower end of the dented part of the upper surface of a flat hot water storage tank and the upper end of the protruded part of the lower surface of said tank are connected and hot water storage spaces with circular cross sections are provided at both the sides of said dented and protruded parts. CONSTITUTION:The flat hollow hot water storage tank 1 is formed so as to be high at its upper edge side and to be low at its lower edge side and the dented part 2a formed at the center of the upper surface and the protruded part 2b formed at the center of the lower surface are connected into one body and as well as the hot water storage spaces 3a and 3b with the nearly circular cross sections having a large and a small diameters respectively are formed at both the sides of one or a plurality of said dented and protruded parts 2a and 2b. Owing to the structure as described above, the hot water storage spaces 3a and 3b can be allowed to have enough strength and to prevent the side walls of the tank 1 from being deformed when the tank 1 is fully loaded with water and from being deformed by thermal action, because the hot water storage spaces 3a and 3b are circular. |
