<p>PURPOSE:To have regeneration of a filter with good effectiveness by grasping the condition of clogging of a filter for collection of particulates in the exhaust gas through integrating of the preset values with the number of resolutions of engine and the load and by operating a regenerative conbustor on the basis of the data obtained from said grasping. CONSTITUTION:Exhaust gas from a Diesel engine is excluded particulates when passing through a filter 2 and is exhausted as a purified gas. A clogged filter can be regenerated by a combustor 7 installed on its upper flow, which is fed the fuel from a pump 9 and ignited by an ignition plug 18 to burn off the particulates included. The previously set values are read, on the other hand, by the outputs from a number-of-revolutions sensor 5 for the gngine and a load sensor 11 installed at the lever part 10 of the injection pump 4 and the readings are integrated. When the value obtained has exceeded a certain specified value, it is presumed that the filter is in clogging, and thus the control device 6 actuates the pump 9 to carry out regeneration of the filter.</p> |
