BRAZING METHOD FOR WORK AND SINTERED HARD MATERIAL

PURPOSE:To heat one part of a work and to enable the brazing of less thermal strain by brazing a sintered hard material with a CO2 laser light to the heating part after partially heating the brazing part of the work with the CO2 laser light. CONSTITUTION:The brazing place of a work 3 is partially heated by the CO2 laser light projected from a laser beam machine 4 in an inert gas atmosphere. A sintered hard material 5 is thereafter positioned at the heating place of the work 3 and the brazing of the sintered hard material 5 to the work 3 is completed by heating it by the CO2 laser light. This brazing is performed by the control of the Z axis of the laser machine 4 and the control of an X-Y table 1 in the X-Y axial direction.
