PURPOSE:To independently perform the diagnosis of key input and display without intervention of a computer, by providing an input terminal for diagnostic designation for an information processor processing key input information or display information, and applying a diagnostic designation input to the terminal. CONSTITUTION:A master CPU1 performs giving/receiving of a signal such as display data and key input data with a key input and display control element 2 via signal lines 1a and 1b. The data are outputted from the element 2 via a decoder circuit 3. A scanning signal 3a with a prescribed time interval scans a key matrix KMX4 dynamically, discriminates the operated key, drives a display driver circuit and a display element 5 dynamically and illuminates the display element. The signal 3a inputted to the KMX4 is returned to the element 2 as a return signal 4a and the discrimination of the key input is made at the element 2. When a check switch 6 is operated, the element 2 performs the diagnosis of key input and display singly. |
