PURPOSE:To eliminate the gas leakage and to improve the workability by fixing a service tee to a steel pipe then fixing a boring machine on it through a shutter device and boring the steel pipe for the purpose of a branch pipe. CONSTITUTION:A split sleeve 2 is fixed to a steel pipe 1 and a service tee 3 is fixed on it. A shutter device 10 is fixed through an adaptor 8 to the tee 3. Then a boring machine 13 is fixed onto the shutter device 10 and the boring is performed for the steel pipe 1 by means of a holesaw 14. Here the cutting powder is removed by the method well known. Thereafter the shutter 11 is closed and the boring machine 13 is removed from the shutter device 10. Then a plug fixing tool 15 is fixed to the device 10 to open the shutter 11 while a plug 17 is screwed to the upper mouth 5 of the tee then the portion above the adaptor 8 is removed thus the is completed. |
