发明名称 WELDING HEAT INPUT CONTROLLING METHOD FOR ELECTRIC WELDED TUBE
摘要 PURPOSE:To improve accuracy of control, welding quality and yield by controlling welding heat input by detecting thickness of a metallic strip, temperature of welded part, quantity of upset, and welding speed. CONSTITUTION:An operation controlling device 6 reads thickness data in longitudinal direction of a strip SP from a thickness gauge 1, data relating to the quantity of upset in tube making from an upset quantity measuring device 2, data relating to shifting speed, that is, welding speed of a tube P from a speedometer, and temperature pattern in longitudinal direction of a part just before the welding point including both side edges or temperature of a specified position of shorter edge just before welding point from a temperature pattern measuring device 4. Operation is made separately for starting time of a tube mill and for period of stable operation, and command signals are sent to a voltage applying device 7 to regulate apply voltage to an induction coil IC.
