<p>An automated testing apparatus which performs shorts and continuity testing on a printed circuit board or ceramic substrate (2) submerged in a bath of ionic conducting solution. The apparatus comprises a central controlling device (12) which interfaces with an electrical measuring instrument (8), a controlled table (16) which positions a movable probe (4) over the board or substrate (2) under test so as to measure its electrical characteristics, and a recorder (14) which displays results.</p> |
