The invention relates to a thread-guide folding device in the region of a spinning station of a ring-spinning machine, with a bearing part arranged on the actuating frame and with a foldable pivoting part which holds the thread guide and on which a thread sensor is arranged. This thread sensor can be connected to an indicating or actuating device via an actuating element and via an electrical switching member. At the same time, the actuating element (9) and the electrical switching member (10) can be connected operatively via a magnet (11), the actuating element (9) being arranged on the pivoting part (5) of the thread-guide folding device and the electrical switching member (10) being arranged in the bearing part (3). A flexible electrical connection between the fixed bearing part and the foldable pivoting part can thus be avoided. <IMAGE>
