The invention relates to tracks for magnetic levitation railway systems in which the carrying and guiding of the vehicles takes place in a contactless fashion according to the electromagnetic, electrodynamic or permanent magnetic principle and the vehicles are also driven in a contactless fashion by the use of linear motors. The track for such magnetic levitation railway systems consists generally of the vehicle carriers and the pillars supporting them. The track carrier itself is equipped with a series of functional components for realising the carrying, the guiding and the driving of the vehicles. In addition, the track contains independent components for setting down the vehicle in the event of power failures. The invention has the object of designing the connection of the functional components in such a way that on the one hand a full power flux between track carrier and functional components is achieved and, secondly, each functional component can be individually adjusted and, if appropriate, replaced. The second property is achieved in particular by the fact that the connection structures are each realised in dual construction methods.
