PURPOSE:To balance separate cylinder of multiple cylinders easily by obtaining unbalanced quantity by means of a balancer about separate cylinder, acquiring the optimum angle of combination, where vibration after assembling is minimized, through calculation and assembling separate cylinder according to the result. CONSTITUTION:Shafts 6, 7 supported by bearings 10, 11 are mounted to circular end plates 4, 5 at both ends of the inner cylinder 1 of the multiple cylinders. An intermediate cylinder 2 is fixed to the inner cylinder 1 by a flange section 12, and its opposite side can be slid to the inner cylinder 1. An outer cylinder 3 is fastened to the inner cylinder 1 by a flange section 14, and its opposite side can be slid to the intermediate cylinder 2. The unbalanced quantity is obtained individually by using the balancer before assembling each cylinder, the optimum angle of combination, where frequency after assembling each cylinder 1-3 is minimized, is calculated from the unbalanced quantity, and the cylinders are constructed on the basis of the value. Accordingly, the cylinders can be balanced sufficiently by setting up a correcting weight only to the outer cylinder even when balance is still incomplete, the efficiency of balance work is improved, and productivity is ameliorated. This method is proper to a superconducting generator which largely expands and contracts due to temperature. |
