摘要 PURPOSE:To avoid occurrence of plate temperature off section and response delay time in temperature control of steel plate, by constituting the cooling furnace of continuous annealing apparatus of steel plate with plural jet coolers, and setting the colling capacity of a specified number of coolers on the furnace tail side to about 50%. CONSTITUTION:A steel plate 4 discharged from a soaking pit 1 of an annealing apparatus is cooled by passing through a cooling furnace 2 equipped with multiple jet coolers 5. In this case, the plural coolers on the furnace tail side in the cooling furance 2 are arranged in the control zone of cooling temperature of steel plate, and several ones thereof are initially set to about 50% of the cooling capacity. As a result, an initial air flow calculating device 14 computes the initial air flow necessary to achieve the outlet plate temperature of cooling furnace 2 to the target value. Plate thickness fluctuations at the inlet of cooling furnace 2, plate passing speed fluctuations in the cooling furnace, and cooling furnace outlet temperature fluctuations are detected by thermometers 6, 7, speed meter 13, etc., and according to these measurements, the cooling capacity of the furnace tail side coolers of the cooling furnace 2 is adjusted, so that the steel plate temperature at the outlet of cooling furnace is controlled at the target temperature without delay.
