<p>PURPOSE:To omit a potentiometer having a sliding part, by attaching a slit plate to a shaft which is rotated in response to the pushing amount of an accelerator, and providing a slit detecting means and a means for detecting the rotating direction of the slit plate. CONSTITUTION:The slit plate 9, wherein the slits 9a are provided on the peripheral part at an equal interval, is attached to the shaft 8 which is rotated in response to th pushing amount of the accelerator. A light emitting part 11 and a light receiving part 12 for detecting the slits 9a are provided. Contact points 15a and 15b are contacted with contact points 13a and 13b of a pin 13 which is provided on the slit plate 9. A holder 15 is engaged with the pin 13 when the slit plate 9 is rotatd and movably supported. The output pulses from the light receiving device 12 are counted on the positive or negative side dependig on the outputs of the contact points 15a and 15b. The counted value is given to a chopper control circuit through a D/A converter.</p> |
