PURPOSE:The titled ring designed to rotate a ring rotating body negatively by the spinning tension and the frictional force between the ring and a traveler without causing the yarn breakage even under an instantaneous abnormal tension on using a new ring or exchanging the traveler. CONSTITUTION:The top rotating body 3 having a ring flange 2 at the top thereof and the bottom rotating body 5 are pressed and engaged with each other to form a peripheral groove 6 at the outer periphery. A sliding flange 9 of almost pentagonal cross section is engaged with the peripheral groove 6 and fixed to constitute a ring rotating body 1. The sliding flange 9 is rotatably engaged and supported with a sliding groove 13 of almost V-shaped cross section in a cylindrical holder 10 of almost L-shaped cross section formed from the top ring body 11 and the bottom ring body 12. The gap between the sliding flange 9 and the sliding groove 13 in the perpendicular direction to the sliding surface is (7/100)- (25/100)mm..
