PURPOSE:To simplify the construction of an automatic roll paper loading unit and allow paper to be simply and securely loaded by installng a roll paper tip detector in front of a roll paper transfer means and a cutter operation detector in the rear of a paper cutter in the captioned unit for duplicators. CONSTITUTION:When the tip 1a of roll paper 1 is inserted into an insertion nozzle 31, a detector 30A operates and transfer rollers 22 and 23 are rotated. With this action, the tip 1a of roll paper is extended by the rollers 22 and 23 and passes a detector 30B. Then, the detector 30B operates, allowing a lower roller 22 to further continue the rotating operation by a certain number of revolution. With this action, a certain quantity of roll paper 1 is extended. When rotated by said certain number of revolution, a cutter mechanism 26 is operated to cut the roll paper 1. The cut roll paper is transfered on a transfer passage 32. This construction makes it possible to load roll paper simply and securely. |
