The invention is implemented in a connection between two components, in particular casing and flange elements of brake cylinders, locking elements or locking pins which can be inserted into slots or grooves in the casing element and in the end or flange element being provided. If the casing element and the flange element are clamped together at the time of assembly, these components can be displaced slightly in such a way relative to the locking elements or locking pins inserted between them, when the clamping force is removed, that the locking elements or locking pins are fixedly secured. The removal of the connecting or locking elements is correspondingly simplified.
