PURPOSE:To make the constitution of a high voltage generator for electrostatic chargers of copying machines, etc. simple and small in size by synthesizing the high voltage by a common transformer and the 2nd high voltage and controlling a generating source for the 2nd high voltage. CONSTITUTION:Rectifier circuits formed of diodes D1-D4, capacitors C1-C4, resistors R1-R4, etc. are connected to the secondary windings S1-S4 of a common single transformer T1 to the primary windings of which a source voltage is applied, whereby a DC high voltage is generated. These rectifier circuits are connected to the independent 2nd adjustable multiple output high voltage generating circuit formed of transformers T2-T5, rectifier circuits, etc., and the DC high voltage from the 2nd high voltage generating circuit is superposed on said high voltage and these are supplied to respective electrostatic chargers CH1-CH4. At the same time, the superposed voltages are feedback supplied to the primary windings of the transformers T2-T4, by which the load currents flowing in the chargers CH1-CH4 are made constant without the influence of the fluctuations in the load and the source voltage. Since the single transformer is used, the constitution of the high voltage generator for chargers of copying machines, etc. is made simple and small in size. |
