Joints for three-dimensional supporting structures composed of bars
摘要
Joints are necessary in order to form three-dimensional supporting structures composed of bars. A building element is shown with which it is possible to form such a joint in a simple manner from identical parts. The angular butt-strap joint shown comprises individual butt straps which are provided with bores and are bent off at an angle with respect to the longitudinal axis, the number of butt straps being equal to the number of bars to be connected and the opening angle of the butt straps being equal to 360 divided by the number of bars. The angular butt-strap joint is suitable for connecting bars of all shapes.
