<p>With a view to reducing cabin noise in a twin turboprop, the relative phase as well as the speed of the engines are controlled by a synchrophasing system which, from pulse signals indicative of the propellor phases, makes repetitive phase difference measurements and supplies, at respective spaced times, digital correction signals to a servo- motor controlling the speed of one of the engines.</p> |
