PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution of a digital filter, by supplying a color difference data to a digital filter for band limit after the decrease of the sampling rate of the data to a fraction of the original rate. CONSTITUTION:Red, green and blue signals from input terminals 1R, 1G and 1B are applied to a matrix circuit 4 via A/D converters 2R,2G and 2B. A luminance data from the matrix circuit 4 is applied to a transmitter 10 via a delay circuit 9. The color difference data is applied to the transmitter 10 via digital filters 5I and 5Q, re-sampling circuits 6I and 6Q and a delay circuit 24 or a digital filter 7Q. The sampling frequency of the circuit 6Q is set to a fraction of the sampling frequency of the A/D converter. |
