<p>PURPOSE:To reduce reactive current as well as to increase dust collecting efficiency, in an electric dust collector consisting of a charging part, a fluidized dust collecting layer, a dust powder separating mechanism and a recirculating mechanism, by using a dielectric material such as gravel as the material of the fluidized dust collecting layer. CONSTITUTION:Succeeding to a charging part 2 having an electric discharge mechanism, a fluidized dust collecting layer 3 formed by filling a porous plate with a particulate dielectric material such as gravel is provided as well as, by a dust powder separating mechanism consisting of a damper and flow control apparatus 9, a vibration screen apparatus 10 and a dust powder conveyor 11, dust powder is separated from the particulate dielectric material discharged from the layer 3 to clean said dielectric material. In addition, the cleaned particulate dielectric material is returned to the layer 3 by a recirculating mechanism consisting of a basket conveyor 12, a dust collecting material feeder 13 and a conveyor 20.</p> |
