PURPOSE:To detect automatically the deformation of a sphere, the adhesion of foreign matters, internal bubbles, etc., by projecting a light to the transparent sphere and comparing the forward scattered light with a reference value. CONSTITUTION:Transparent spherical capsules are accumulated in a hopper 24 and are supplied to the accumulating part of a vertically rotating drum 10 from a supply pipe 23 and are arranged at a regular pitches and are supplied to a horizontally rotating plate 11. During the transfer on the horizontally rotating plate 11, the light is projected from a light projector 12 to capsules continuously, and the forward scattered light is received by a photodetector 13 and is converted photoelectrically and is compared with a reference value. Capsules judges to be defective goods as the result of the test are blown up with air from a solenoid valve 32 connected to an air piping and are stored in a defective goods gathering vessel 37 from an suction inlet 33 connected to a vacuum pump 38. Indefectible goods are blown up with air from a blow-off exit 34 and are stored in an indefectible goods gathering pipe 35 and are stored in an indefectible goods gathering bag 36. |
