PURPOSE:To search and input desired Kanji (Chinese character) very easily and quickly, by lighting an LED in every region of a homonym on an arrangement sheet. CONSTITUTION:On a Kanji arrangement sheet 4, Kanji, Kana (Japanese syllabary) characters, numbers, symbols, etc. are printed in matrix frames in a proper arrangement order. A transparent tablet substrate 3 where electrostatic connection type switches consisting of combinations of transparent electrodes are arranged in accordance with positions of symbols, etc. is provided under the sheet 4. Function keys 5 for retrieval of homonymic Kanji are arranged in proper positions on the substrate 3. A table frame 2 under the substrate 3 is provided with LEDs 7, 7... in accoreqnce with positions of Kanji on the sheet 4, and LEDs 7, 7... are so controlled that only LEDs in regions of homonyms are lit when a prescribed position on the sheet 4 is touched with a stylus pen. |
