PURPOSE:To use effectively a three-dimensional radar echo generator for training, by outputting an echo pulse when the difference between the half of the beam width and the absolute value resulting from the subtraction between the azimuth of an objective material and the current azimuth of an antenna is reduced to a value determined preliminarily by the angle of elevation. CONSTITUTION:An azimuth thetaT of the echo to be generated is subtracted from a current azimuth thetaA of an antenna in a subtracting circuit SUB1; and only when 1/2=thetaB of the antenna beam width is larger than or equal to the absolute value of this subtraction result, the output is issued from a comparing circuit CMP. Values alpha0, alpha1...alphan which are outputted in accordance with an angle phiT of elevation at the view of the echo from the radar and determine the pulse position are subtracted from the 1/2 beam width thetaB in a subtracting circuit SUB2. The output of the circuit SUB2 is subtracted from the output of the circuit CMP in a subtracting circuit SUB3; and when the output is zero, it is detected by a detecting circuit ZDT1, and information 1 indicating ''echo presence'' is written in a memory MEM through an OR operating circuit OR. If a switch SW is switched to the R side to read out information 1, one echo pulse is generated from a pulse generating circuit ECH. |
