PURPOSE:To increase a terminal equipment without adding a channel device, by providing a virtual station address on the channel device so that the virtual station address can be selected, too. CONSTITUTION:In case when an address coinciding with a designated address exists in one of a station address 9a' and a virtual station address 9b', a channel device transmits to a processor as to the fact that a data processing command has been received, and starts its processing. A designated channel device refers to unit address tables 9a, 9b corresponding to the station addresses 9a', 9b', executes a selecting operation to one of switches 10, 11 in order to select a terminal equipment corresponding to a unit address designated by the data processing command, and gives a processing command to a designated terminal equipment. |
