PURPOSE:To execute a program correction without spoiling the contents of an execution format program, by inserting an additional program area for correction, to the next address of a relative format program whose correction is necessary. CONSTITUTION:For instance, it is supposed that a part requiring correction PBA is detected in a program PRO2 and its substitute program ALT consists of 128 bytes. This program ALT is added to the last of the program PRO2 in which the part requiring correction has been detected, and in the head address of the part requiring correction PBA, a branch instruction for jumping to the program ALT is written, and in the end of the program ALT, a branch instruction for jumping to the next address of the last address of the part requiring correction PBA is written in advance. According to such a constitution, when execution of the program advances and reaches the part requiring correction PBA, the branch instruction is generated, execution of the program is shifted to the ALT, and when it ends, the branch instruction is generated again, and the execution is shifted to the next program part of the PAB part. |
