PURPOSE:To prevent frames from being distorted by loding a plurality of climbing jacks onto the frames of a large-sized structure and contacting a jack rod with the ground through the guide hole formed on the frames, then operating the jack. CONSTITUTION:The guiding holes 4 of a plurality of climbing jacks 5, namely the holes 4 of jack rods are arranged at the positions close to the center of a beam. When the jack 5, in other word a large-sized structure 1 is raised, the top edge of a rod 6 is contacted with the ground, and lower clutches 20 are engaged with the projection 61 of the rod 6 to support the load, then an upper yoke 22 is lifted by a piston 21, and upper clutches 19 are engaged with the projection 61 to support the load. Then, the clutches 20 of the lower yoke 23 are released, and the yoke 23 is lifted by a contracting spring 24, and the piston 21 contracted, and the lower clutch 20 is engaged with the projection 61, and the load is supported. Thus, the large-sized structure 1 is lifted-up through the repetition of these operations. |
