PURPOSE:To improve reliability and accuracy by making prediction calculation and display at every measuring period until the end of the measurement is judged. CONSTITUTION:An electronic clinical thermometer has a temp. detection part 1, a measuring circuit 2, an arithmetic processing part 3, a display part 4 and a control part 5. The part 3 performs arithmetic operation by the instruction of the control signal from the part 5 and has a sub-routine unit consisting of a data reading-in part 6, a memory 7, a calculating part 8 for elapsed time, a predication calculating part 9 and a deciding part 10 for the end of measurement. The part 9 calculates the predicted value of a thermal equil. temp. according to the function for predicting temp. according to the temp. detected by the part 1 at every measuring period until the end of the measurement is decided. The part 10 decides the conditions for ending the prediction calculation in the part 9. |
