PURPOSE:To allow an electronic equipment, equipped with a computing function, an electronic tuning radio receiving function, and a clocking function, to select the channel of a radio broadcast of preset frequency and then receive the broadcast at preset time while computation is not carried out. CONSTITUTION:To receive an AM broadcast of 1,310kHz in frequency stored in a channel at 9:12p.m., the time of a timer is set firstly by operating keys HOUR, MIN, and PM among setting keys S5, and numeric keys in combination and then confirmed on a display device DSP, and a key TIMER is operated to start set registration. To set a reception frequency in a channel, keys CH5 and AM among setting keys S6 and the ten-keys among the keys S5 are sued and those pieces of information are stored in the memory in the device. The microprocessor in the device repeatedly discriminates whether the set time comes or not, and at the set time, receiving operation is started at the set frequency through a PLL circuit. |
